To get a clear idea of who my target audience should be and what would work best, I created a survey.
As you can see below, the majority were female. They went on to choose horror as their preferred genre, because of this I've decided to create a film trailer for a horror film. The majority of the people who answered my survey were ages between 17-20. This shows that horror would be a good choice as this age group has the highest rate of people who watch horror films the most. I also asked them what attracts them to a film? The most popular answer was 'the storyline', this is good as if they said that the actor/actress was what attracted them to watch a film it would be difficult for me to produce a good product. In conclusion my target audience are females, aged 17-20.
